Our Affiliate is comprised of an Executive Director, Office Assistant, Director of Development and Community Engagement, Grant Writer, Volunteer Coordinator and Construction Manager. The Affiliate works hard to ensure the direction of HfHSWU is moving forward in our mission. The Affiliate is the overseer of the ReStore, a mortgage company, a builder and fundraiser.
When we receive a new partner homeowner, HfHSWU is the mortgage holder and continues to work with the home owner to make their payments, which are put into a perpetual fund to help another potential individual(s) with the dream of home ownership. We also have our contractor’s license to build or renovate homes for our owners, we have the same regulations and rules as other contractors in Utah. The Volunteer Coordinator, which is a part time position at this point, keeps our invaluable Volunteers engaged and wanting to come back. We have two fundraisers in our Affiliate, the Grant Writer works tirelessly to find grants that are appropriate to HfHSWU. Grants are the biggest contributor to our mission. The Development and Community Engagement Director keeps the community informed while using events and involvement in various other organizations to keep Habitat involved. The Executive Director is over of the Affiliate and the ReStore.
